Refund Policy

All Sales Final, Except as Required by Law

Our policy is that all sales are final, except where mandatory cancellation and refund rights are guaranteed by Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93. This law applies to all purchases of access and instruction, regardless of duration (including annual subscriptions, monthly memberships, training packages, and single-session passes).

Subscription Auto-Renewal and Administrative Deadline

Please note that the statutory refund rights below govern contracts that are cancelled due to specific circumstances (disability, relocation, etc.). They DO NOT govern refunds for missed advance notice on a routine, recurring subscription payment.

All recurring subscriptions (monthly, annual, etc.) automatically renew and are non-refundable once processed. To prevent the next scheduled charge, you must submit a hold or cancellation request at least three (3) business days prior to your Renewal Date.

  • Late Notice: If a cancellation or freeze request is received on or after the Renewal Date, the current period's payment is final and non-refundable, and your access will remain active until the end of that paid period.

Three-Day Right to Cancellation

You may cancel your contract for health club services for any reason, without penalty, within three (3) business days from the date of your purchase or the date you receive a receipt for your payment.

Additional Statutory Rights to Cancellation (Applying to All Contracts for Health Club Services)

After the initial three-day period, you or your estate may cancel your contract for health club services under the following specific circumstances as defined by Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93, Section 82:    

  • Medical Disability: If, upon a doctor's order, you cannot physically or medically receive our services for a period of more than three months.

  • Death of the Member: In the event of your death, your estate may cancel the contract.

  • Relocation: If you move your residence or place of employment more than 25 miles from any Rx Strength Training facility or a substantially similar gym that would accept your membership.

  • Service Unavailability: If our health club services are not available because we fail to open a planned location, permanently close, or substantially change the operation of our gym.    

Cancellation Process

  • To request a cancellation under one of the rights listed above, you must provide a written notice delivered in person or sent by certified or registered mail. This notice must include:

    • A clear statement that you are canceling your contract for health club services.

    • All membership forms, cards, and any other documents or evidence of membership.

    • Reasonable evidence for the cancellation (e.g., a doctor's note, proof of relocation).

Refund Processing

  • For qualifying cancellations, a refund will be issued within fifteen (15) business days of receiving your written notice. The refund will be for the portion of the total contract price proportional to the amount of time you have not used the services or facilities.
